My Direct Democracy

My Direct Democracy is a free and anonymous mobile only app, where users can vote for or against bills currently being considered by their political representatives and answer questions on the big issues facing our society. After voting, members can see how many other members agreed or disagreed with their position and My Direct Democracy will collate the results by political constituency to ensure our political representatives know what the people who vote for them expect of them.

Vote on as many or as few bills as you wish. Answer just one or all questions. Change your mind as often as you like. The only rule on My Direct Democracy is that you only get one vote per member and you can only vote on issues in your country of residence.

Direct democracy is a political concept which involves the voters directly in running the country. This is usually done by digital referendum and is widely practiced in some countries, but is not under consideration here. My Direct Democracy is filling this gap by providing a shadow direct democracy in order to force our political leaders to consider what the people who put them in office think and how they expect them to use their vote.
